Quinn’s smart home journey didn't lead directly to SmartRent. The team had initially selected a different smart home provider and after testing the service and selecting their ideal devices, they got to work installing. However, the partnership led to some growing pains for Quinn as they found themselves undergoing very time-consuming self-installations. As a result of installing their own systems, they dealt with manual troubleshooting and felt that the devices just weren’t up to par. Ultimately this led them to take a different approach to modernize their homes.
