How Do I Create, Edit, and Delete a Schedule in the SmartRent Mobile App?
Schedules allow you to automate a device by triggering an action on specified times and days. Schedules are most common for thermostats and entryway lighting but can be customized for many of your paired devices.
Creating a Schedule:
In order to create a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:
- On the home screen of your app, tap the device you want to create the Schedule for
- Tap the ⋮ in the upper right-hand corner

Tap Schedule
- Tap the +
- Select the time and day(s) when you would like the Schedule to run
- Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
- Set what the device will do
- Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
- View your new Schedule on the menu that appears
Editing a Schedule:
To edit a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:
- On the home screen of your app, tap the device you want to edit the Schedule for
- Tap the ⋮ in the upper right-hand corner

Tap Schedule
- Tap on the desired Schedule you wish to edit
- Make desired changes to the Schedule times
- Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
- Make desired changes to what the device will do
- Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner

View your new Schedule on the menu that appears
Deleting a Schedule:
To delete a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:
- On the home screen of your app, tap the device you want to delete the Schedule from
- Tap the ⋮ in the upper right-hand corner

Tap Schedule
- Tap on the desired Schedule you wish to delete
- Tap Delete Schedule at the bottom of the page
- Tap Delete in the confirmation pop-up window
