In the SmartRent Mobile App, you have the ability to remotely control your smart bulbs and dimmer switches, set schedules, and monitor their activity. 

 

Controlling Your Dimmers and Bulbs:

To control your smart bulbs and dimmer switches in the SmartRent Mobile App, follow these steps:

1. Tap the dimmer switch or smart bulb on the home screen under My Devices
2. To turn on the device, tap ON
3. To turn off the device, tap OFF
4. To adjust the light brightness, slide your finger along the dimmer bar from 1% to 100%
   
   

Activity, Settings, Schedules:

To view your bulb/dimmer Activity, update Settings, or to set a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:

1. Tap on your dimmer switch or smart bulb on the home screen under My Devices
2. Tap ⋮ 
3. To view your dimmer switch’s or smart bulb’s Activity, tap Activity 
   • This will open your Activity feed so you can see when your bulbs and dimmers have been turned on, off, or adjusted
4. To view or change your dimmer switch’s or smart bulb’s Settings, tap Settings
   • This will open your device Settings and allow you to change the name of your dimmer switch or smart bulb
5. To create a schedule for your dimmer switch or smart bulb, (i.e. set my bulb/dimmer to 70% every morning at 8am), tap Schedule 
   • To make a new Schedule, tap +
   • Set the time and the days you want the Schedule to occur
   • Tap Next
   • Set what you want the device to do (turn On, turn Off, or set level)
   • Tap Done after reviewing your Schedule
